This workshop has been created and is presented by Elle Nichelle Holiday: Voice Specialising Speech Pathologist, Singing Coach, Vocal Massage Therapist and Vocalist from Adelaide, Australia. She is the owner and director of VocaLab (@vocalabau) and provides highly specialised, bespoke voice services for professional Australian and international performers from the music scene and the world of musical theatre.
Elle specialises in troubleshooting vocal issues, particularly in belt technique and high-energy vocal tasks; employing evidence-based voice rehabilitation and habilitation strategies to help you create a sustainable singing voice. She is a certified clinical vocal massage therapist and combines this in singing lessons to help out those singers with pesky laryngeal tension. Elle understands how past negative experiences with singing teachers and performances can affect vocal confidence, and her warm, positive, holistic, and empowering approach will leave you feeling accomplished and supported after every session.
When teaching her private students, Elle aims to strike a balance between the vocal mechanisms of breathing, phonation, and resonance while helping you understand the intricacies of your instrument, so you can eventually become the problem-solver of your own voice!
